General Ways To Make Money Online
If you are
reading this then you have probably been searching for days, weeks, months or
even years on trying to find an answer to this question. "How do you make money
online?". The answer is actually pretty straight forward. From all the time I
have spent on the net I have learned two really important facts about making
money online. Basically, there are two ways that you can do it.
Sell a service.
This general idea behind this tactic is that you get paid for doing something
for someone. You are essentially selling yourself to a potential employer. The
service you preform for them can be one of several things. Lets look at some of
the most common ways you can make money by selling a service.
1. Paid Surveys
You are basically paid for you ideas, thoughts and opinions about a specific
topic.
2. Paid to Write
This is self-explanatory. Just find someone who will pay you to write about a
topic they are interested in. There are several different place on the net that
one can easily find for jobs like this. Each day hundreds, if not thousands, of
web site owners are looking for content. Most of them are willing to pay out the
nose to get unique content. If you enjoy writing and feel you have an area of
expertise then this route may be best for you. However, the biggest drawback to
this tactic is that it requires you to work at it. It isn't one of those
internet jobs where you just write then sit back and watch the money roll in.
Simply put, if you don't write, you don't get paid.
3. Get paid to view ads
This has to be the simplest way one can make money on the internet. The biggest
drawback to this method is that the pay is extremely low. You would have to work
at it 24 hours a day to be able to actually live off it. Even then, you could
only bring in about $30 a day. Last time I checked, thats about an 8 hour day at
a job that pays minimum wage.
I will admit that going down this road is no different that a real job. If you
like doing work and don't mind spending twice as much time as a real job, then
go for it. Otherwise, steer clear of it. Don't expect to get rich from the above
methods. At most it can be barely enough to live off of.
Sell a product.
Selling a product is a much less time consuming way to earn money online. After
all you just have to set up a site, drive traffic and watch the money roll in!
This could be easier said than done though.
There is almost an endless amount of products that you can choose to sell.
Become an affiliate of virtually any company under the sun or sell your own
products. If you are wanting to make the 'easy money' than your best bet would
be to sell other peoples products through affiliate sales.
Why you should choose affiliate sales over selling your own product.
Selling someone else's product reduces virtually all of the stress that is
involved in selling anything. Imagine if you started selling a new hair product
that you created. It worked fantastic for the first couple of months. Then you
started getting complaints that it was turning peoples hair odd colors and
others were even loosing their hair. If you didn't go bankrupt from all the
lawsuits that would be filed against you then you would be spending most of your
time refunding a lot of money.
The beauty about affiliate sales is that you are not held responsible for any
part of the product. The consumer simply buys the product from you or your
website and all the problems that can potentially occur, the company that
produces the product has to deal with it.
